International Awards
In 2009 Joleen Steyn Kotze was awarded the International Award in Research Excellence in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences. Her paper An overdue appraisal: The need to rethink democracy theory was the winning paper for the year 2008 in the International Journal of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences. She will present a plenary session on her award winning paper.
